Advent Wreath Week 4

Leader: "All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.’” John 1:3-5

Prayer: Lord Jesus, even death’s darkness could not extinguish the light of your love for us. Help us to rejoice in the good news of not only your birth, but your whole life and ministry. May we also live our life to serve others as you did. Help us take time this week to share your light with someone who could use some encouragement and love. We ask this in your name. Amen

Each night this week light three purple candles and one pink candle then leave them burning during the meal. The evening meal prayer follows the lighting of the candles.
